Pedal Forth
As I've been feeling pretty tired all day, it was lovely to be able to come home in the light on the bus after a meeting that lasted one hour less than it was timetabled for in my diary. Not at all sure why that was. Presumably the Chair had a different diary invitation, or another meeting to go to. Who knows? Anyway, the highlight at work was confirmation that my game of three dimensional chess has a resolution. Low lights were hearing about some student complaints. Sadly, that's pretty much par for the course these days. Even if we were perfect (and we are not), the students would still complain.
The early finish enabled me to get a blip in the light (a relatively recent leithwalkshop although Pedal Forth has been around for quite a while in a different location just off Coburg Street), and to walk home across Pilrig Park in the light, an experience that LauraMuir said she found rather spooky and unpleasant last night in the dark (as indeed it is).
I've been eating up leftovers today from yesterday's colourful (and tasty) repast. Left over duck tagine, salad and couscous this lunch time in my lunch box. And then left over fish tagine and gravadlax with fresh couscous for dinner, followed by the remains (few) of the Krema treats, with Mr A. I came home to a neat and tidy flat. Mr A had done both the washing up and the large quantity of laundry that neither of us wanted to leave behind unwashed when we went north.
