Goffey has the Countach back...

...and in the 'all growned up world' I visited Dad after not seeing him since last week due to being in work.

Four weeks ago his right hand wouldn't budge, the  possible outcome being he may have to learn to write lefthandedly. However, after slowly regaining a little movement back thanks to some physio & amazing nerve stimulation, he had spent the morning practicing with a biro pen & sheet of A4.

By the time I had arrived he had managed to write the registration plates of all the cars he had owned up to the red Morris Marina Estate that took us on holiday to Perranporth in 1979!

The list was both extensive and incomplete, as there were numerous that had been bought, fettled and sold over a weekend that he couldn't remember, although when mentioning that Mum once told me that one such short-termer was a VW Beetle in the early '70s, he did manage to remember the number plate.

Naturally your Gal has already forgotten it apart from that it ended with 'K' meaning that it had been first registered as early as August 1971 - six months after Marcello Gandini's prototype Lamborghini Countach was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
