Reeding The Scene

It was very mild today with the temperature heading towards 15 degrees C.  As the light was much better we thought we should venture out and try our hands at getting another landscape shot - o.k so there might have also been a pit stop at The Red Bull in Eccles for a pre-shoot pint.
We settled on returning to the area around the wonderfully atmospheric church of St. Mary's at Burham. The River Medway wends its way past the church and is surrounded by reed beds. As we took the footpath down the side of the churchyard we could see the water glistening in the distance with an almost slivery sheen and the reed heads swaying in the breeze. When I got closer I knew this is what I wanted to capture so I crouched down to get a shot through the reeds with that slivery curl of the river in the background.
