Gone to Seed

Seed is ripening on Pulsatillas in the garden. In the Alps it still looks like winter higher up, will they even be in flower when I am there this weekend? Watch this space.

A place for insects to stay safe overnight it seems

I gave a talk in Ipswich tonight about the places and plants I saw in Kandersteg last summer. "Rainy Walk, Leaky Boots" was the title ..... this year it may be snow but I do have new boots!
