Roland System-1

Further to yesterday's post, here's another piece of 'real' hardware, this time a keyboard that lives in the studio in Salford.

When I was in my teens and I might see bands I loved on Top Of The Pops, I always thought the Roland synths were the coolest. (Well, them or Sequential Circuits.)

But anyway, forty years on I'm delighted to own a Roland of my own.

After some time in the studio, this afternoon, in the evening the Minx and I went to The Everyman to see the Bob Marley biopic 'One Love'. 

If I'm honest, I've never been a massive fan of reggae, right up until I started my guitar lessons with Paolo, who's brought me 'round to it. But I reckon I'd have enjoyed this film even if he hadn't. I'd recommend it.
