Lake Tekapo

Today we drove from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo. For a fair chunk of the three hour journey we had a beautiful view of Aoraki (Mount Cook) and I was hoping we'd still have it at Lake Tekapo but no, there are other mountains in the way now. It's very beautiful here and it's got a good shop where I bought something silly for Margot.

My main and the first extra give a look at the lake in different lights. The second extra is the dear little Church of the Good Shepherd and the last extra, my personal favourite, shows some public art and people by the lake. 

This time tomorrow we will be back at home so maybe an airport shot. :-))
