Leaves, Lichen And Moss
A nice gentle stroll this morning ..quite pleasant weather for a walk. Not far from the spot where I found yesterday’s jelly-ear fungus I spotted this wonderful bright green moss and lichen, with new leaves emerging. Again, a little bit of flash used to lighten the subject.
This may actually be the tree next to the one from yesterday! I believe they are both elder.
As I walked up our drive I noticed quite a bit of blossom had blown off our ornamental plum tree (prunus) so I picked up a clump to photograph…see extra today. It seems early, but I have checked back on blip and it has been open in mid March before.
