Out of the blue

We're a bit subdued today. Our good friends Robert and Finola were in a car accident yesterday. Both battered and bruised and in hospital but basically okay. A very frightening experience and shocking how these things can just come out of the blue. Robert's son has already arrived from the UK and is taking some of the stress from them.

A wild day - wind, sleet, snow on the hills. I went out briefly to get some primer, the downstairs loo now ready for the decorator.

We're off for a pizza with the Hannah the former house-sitter so will be catching up later.
