The old stocks

Walking back from a visit this afternoon I passed the old stocks so decided to grab a blip. Thankfully I've never seen them in use. :-))

The stone pillars marking the location of the stocks have stood on this corner for centuries. The wooden stocks themselves were restored in more modern times and are not the original ones used.
