Stoke Bruerne

Ducks on the Grand Union Canal just south of Stoke Bruerne.

On our walk back to the village we inadvertently seem to have startled one of a pair of swans nesting beside the canal, which took off suddenly, skimming the surface of the water with its feet for about 100m, as seen in today's 'Extra'.
