Dunnocks aren’t noted for their song but it is very sweet and picked up straightaway with my Merlin App.
This little one was eating up the seeds which had fallen to the ground under the feeders.

Sunny day but a very cold wind and frost first thing.

We had a very enjoyable evening with our friends. Taxi back at 2 am. Way past our normal bedtime!
Just had a little lie in this morning as our granddaughter Jennie and boyfriend were calling on their way back to Sheffield.
She had been home to celebrate her Birthday which was on Friday.
We were so busy chatting that I nearly forgot to give her our presents.
Always a lot of catching up to do.

We haven’t done much since they left. Recovering from last night. Quite a few empty bottles for the bottle bank!
