Another...

...Daisy walk this morning...

And another lovely, if chilly, day!  After the tree felling a couple of years ago, these Old Scot's Pines have been allowed to thrive without being overshadowed by the Larch.  One positive from the felling I guess...

There were volunteers planting some new trees in another part of the woods this morning...  Finally!

However, they have also dug a big channel at the bottom of the hill, creating a mud bath.  It is clearly for drainage which makes no sense as it leads to the entrance to the woods and the water is just below the drain channel...  It has never been that high...  Someone has logic on this...  Not quite sure what it is but I am not sure it is going to work...
