The Sea

Weather warning.    It rained and blew the whole way  from Seattle to Long Beach for our ocean fix….….we stopped at our usual halfway coffee shop and it and all around were closed ..no power!    We carried on and finally found a drive through after a grocery store for a potty stop….and this is our view from our balcony.   This lighthouse place has been remodeled since we were here last year …a lovely surprise!      One of the few moments you could actually see the water….. sometimes it all looked the same, but we could hear it!    It was so miserable we opted to not walk there …altho its close…just across the dunes… and went for early dinner anyway.  ( halibut for me from right out there and just off the boat yesterday)    Tomorrow we’ll don all our rain gear for a closer look!    Now we’re getting into vacation mode in front of the cozy fire. 
Have the camera but having trouble getting the photo on the iPad… have to go thru the iPhone first. Oh well, it will have to do.
