.....the butler didn't do it......

Got roped into a photoshoot after work tonight.

I like movies.....not a great fan of live theatre (except for Shakespeare).....musicals leave me cold...and as for dance................

The pupils were presenting the Summer show....and it was fantastic!

A couple of really good singers.......two talented pianists......a brilliant violinist.....some good dance routines, especially the Can-Can and the 60's section.....a really powerful soliloquy from Romeo and Juliet...the witches scene from my favourite...Macbeth......a scene from Bugsy Malone......and an outstandingly funny Sherlock Holmes spoof ............Dr Watson gazing on the stabbed corpse of the butler: "Well Holmes there's one thing we know for certain about this case"...Sherlock Holmes: "And what's that Watson?".....Watson: "The butler definitely didn't do it!"....Priceless.

It was a terrific evening enjoyed by the audience and the performers....so now I'm editing shots ready for posting on the TV's around school tomorrow.

The errant family member phoned me today to plead her case.....not convinced by her appeal sorry to say....wonder what the next development will be.
