....another brick in the wall......

The brickies turned up at 7.45 this morning!

I had to roust the Boss from bed as I was about to leave for work.

When I got home they had completed the walls and also the step, which was made up of two Indian pavers, lovely bits of stone and gratis as they just happened to have them left over from another job.

I was well impressed! I was even more impressed when the gaffer said, "If you're going to lay a path round this I'll leave you all this sharp sand, save you buying some", and then bagged it upa nd moved it into the garage for us.

I got ready to go coaching and was slightly bemused that the brickies had bee to the chippie and come back. The Boss explained that the concrete for the flooring was on its way!.....When I got back from coaching the floor was laid and the Boss had taken this shot for my blip!

The architect comes tomorrow to take precise measurements of the walls and then the company builds the frame of the conservatory to fit exactly onto the walls! This will take a few days and then it will be delivered and built and glazed.....then the electrics are fitted and finally the floor will be tiled.

Isn't it brilliant when everything goes right?
