3D Dentistry

This is the CAT scan of my jaw to see if it was reasonably safe to take out a wisdom tooth that was impeding access to repair another more functional molar. My own dentist (Programme Director of my Mouth, in his words!) thought it was and brought in a specialist to do the necessary today, taking care not to damage a closeby nerve. All went well with the whole thing, with the pair of them warning me of sounds I would hear just before they happened, like, ‘Now, three loud cracks!)

There’s quite a process of after-care which will last ten days before the stitches are taken out.

The extra is my instant ice remedy as I passed the first shop after leaving the surgery!
