Ploughing

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so I joined 3 friends for my first game of golf this year. On the way I passed a field on the outskirts of town being ploughed and so I stopped on the way home as I could see a large part of the field had been ploughed. No wonder when I saw that 2 powerful tractors with 5 furrow reversible ploughs were following each other at a good speed.

I couldn’t help thinking what a difference this machinery was from my recent blip taken at the vintage tractor ploughing match.

I took the extra as I was leaving the golf course looking towards the Lomond Hills and into the low afternoon sun.
