Sunset …..

….. ….. ….. over the Haast Bridge, South Westland.

Another super day on the West Coast.
We headed up the coast to Lake Paringa this morning and enjoyed having lunch at the Salmon Farm; an intriguing setup.
We called in at the Lake Moeraki Lodge and were shown through, amazed at all the changes there’ve been since we both stayed there with our respective husbands, many years ago! The views out onto the Moeraki River are very beautiful.
The afternoon was a tad more leisurely until we went to the Heartland Heritage Hotel for a meal of Whitebait Patties - what a delicacy they are!
And of course to finish the day we drove over the Haast Bridge, chasing a West Coast sunset.
