Poppy Love!

One man's weed is another woman's delight:-) I love poppies, but my husband hates them and usually pulls them out before they get a chance to bloom. This year, he has agreed to let a few grow in front of the border to keep me quiet and they are adding a welcome splash of colour on a grey day today.

A grey day for me too, as I've jiggered my back and can hardly stand up straight. Even sitting hurts! It was that over-enthusiastic gardening that did it - that'll teach me to try and do it all in a day! I never learn:-)
