A Dresden Piano sitting outside a small grocery store in Seddon, Marlborough, South Island (known for its earthquakes…see Wikipedia) I wondered for ages how it might have got there from north Germany but it seems Dresden Pianos were made in Dunedin, up until 1916 when the immigrant family were forced to rename them because of WW1. So this sturdy piece must be at least 108 years old, still looking solid outside under a canopy. Needed a good tune though
