Fowl Play

Today we looked after our granddaughter Freya, (18 months) and took her to a story telling and singing session at a local community run library. It would have closed a few years ago but for the volunteers who run it.

However, the session was cancelled, but we had a good time with lots of children's books and toys, and there were some other pre-school children as well.

Then we had a wander up to the canal next door to look at the ducks and geese. The disappointment was all theirs as we had nothing to feed them. The pleasure was all ours in seeing Freya enjoying them swimming over to us expectantly.

Nana was holding onto her hand very tightly!
