Bath Street, Bath
Photograph taken from near the King's and Queen's Baths building.
Fi and I spent the day in Bath having parked her car in the Park and Ride.
We visited the Gwen John painting's exhibition at the Holburne Museum which I thoroughly enjoyed. I knew nothing about her but she was a sister of Augustus John, who went to the Slade and was taught by Whistler. Gwen also became a lover of Rodin and lived in Paris for many years eventually converting to Catholicism. She is not very well known in this country.
Afterwards we had a delicious lunch at The Ivy in Milsom Street before looking at a few shops on the way back to the bus stop.
