The latest afternoon storm and shelf cloud

I am not sure how long I should be sat here at the 'puter as there is rolling thunder and bright flashes of lightning outside.  I don't think that this storm was predicted but it is a doozy.  No hail which is a good thing.

The blip is from the car park at Bar Beach on my way home.  the extra is of some of the onlookers.  Nothing like lightning to get people out for the show.  It doesn't look it but that shelf cloud out to sea was amazing and bigger than it looks in the blip.
