Not much left

A simple, but very tasty dinner.  Chickpeas, spinach and cumin.

The decorating finished today - very pleased with the results. We've a bit of work to do to get the house straight again - curtain poles to buy and fit etc etc.  We can also get out all our pictures and hang them for the first time since moving in.

It had been planned that they should paint the front door and surroundings, but we have been having trouble opening and closing the door during the damp weather, and when we studied it closer, it was clear that there was some damp damage to the surrounding woodwork.  So now the plan is to replace the whole caboodle with a uPVC alternative.  We need to be prepared to put a bit of cash into making it look as grand as the current one, though!
