Pied Wagtail

The forecast was for heavy rain all day today - it's lunchtime now and we're still waiting for it to arrive! Very annoying!

I did at least manage a quick local walk first thing as I had some mail to post, and then had a wander at the creek which was very empty! maybe the birds were hiding from the invisible rain too!!  But this lovely pied wagtail posed nicely for me on my walk back, where I also saw the kestrel heading towards the trees.
