Roll With It

Away Day

Very early start for Mrs S who headed off to London by train with friend Lucy for a day out. That left Paddy and to get the housework done, go for an extended walk and for me to visit Lucy’s father, John. By the end of the day I’d had a pretty good day, Mrs S not so.
Paddy and I enjoyed our walk, todays photo is of two halves of the same headstone now used as paving slabs on the Foxes Garden walk.
A few hours spent with Lucy’s father during which I tracked down the burial details of two of his relatives who died in WWI. We found them, one with no know grave in France, the other buried in Iraq.

At midnight it was off to bed with Mrs S, having left London at 6:30pm still travelling and nowhere near home..
