The morning after the birthday and what a beautiful morning it was. After the storm of yesterday, today was calm in comparison. Our morning dog walk was a joy, watching the sun creep higher and higher and the intermittent rolling waves. Such a beautiful morning yet what did it hold. For today I would go to the hospital to get my biopsy results. Today I would become another cancer patient.
