Wet Walk

I drove over to see No.1 today and the rain was lashing down all the way - the M25 not great at the best of time but awful in the rain.

We wanted a walk and a bit of fresh air so after a coffee and chat we drove to Wimbledon hoping the rain would ease so we could do a walk.  It didn't - so we found our way to Hotel du Vin on the common and looked forward to a cup of tea and scone but alas no scones or other cake, just a lonely biscuit.  The rain cleared a bit as we finished tea so had a nice walk around Cannizaro Park admiring the houses which border the park and must sell for ££££.  

Back to Tooting to put the casserole in the oven (left over Coq au Vin from last week) and another drive home in the rain.  Lovely to spend time with No.1 and encouraging that she seems to have turned a corner and feeling slightly better with medication reduced.  Please Lord let it continue.
