Outward looking

Unlike the UK which seems to have turned in on itself, at least the Spinnaker Tower looks outwards still. The extra is the funnel of the MV Bretagne.

We had several good days with my father in Lancashire and several good days with our friends in Hampshire.Today we took the train to Portsmouth and boarded our ferry home to France.We're carrying all sorts of strange things back to France, but mostly tea. You can get perfectly good tea in France, but it's more expensive than the UK and it's hard to find decaffeinated tea - as I'm not supposed to have caffeine.

Back blip.

We had a really good crossing to Saint-Malo and the customs didn't confiscate my tea so all was good.
