Orange Moon
Knowing I was going to be away in Glasgow for a couple of days and not blipping, I stayed up on Tuesday night to get a few shots of the moon just after midnight. At least that would give me a Wednesday blip.
The moon duly appeared and I got my very early blips. Only when I was reviewing the shots did the thought cross my mind about the time the camera would have recorded the shots taken. As I suspected it was 2310 - I never moved the camera clock forward for BST! Nothing for it but adjust the time and get a few more blips. Fortunately the clouds that now covered the moon soon moved away.
2 days after being a "big moon" it was now in shadow on the right hand side, which seemed to highlight the craters even more. After my moonlight shot the other night I am keen to do more low light photography of the night sky - if only the midges would stay away!!
