Sunshine after the Rain

For majestic trees in honour of Joe, I had to pop to the Ornamental Drive in the New Forest. This is a huge collection of trees from around the world, which you can drive or walk amongst. It must have been amazing in the days of horse propulsion.

Even though there was heavy rain en route, there were a few glimpses of sunlight that I hope do justice to their splendour and sense of permanence. I think this group is giant sequoias - do correct me if I'm wrong.

Extras are a sunny shot before I ventured out, and the irresistible joyous daffodils.
