Survivor
(Wednesday 9th of the cycling holiday is up - see entry for Monday 23rd for explanation)
The end of our garden has been left to go wild. It is thick with brambles and choked with bindweed and some sort of white flowers. At some time in the past, before we moved in, there was a small bed of roses there, and some of these have survived to grow up through the brambles and are still flowering.
Teaching all day today - I do like my wife's class. We worked on parodies today, and I gave them a selection of nursery rhymes to parody and some of them were brilliant, making me laugh out loud. They worked with the reception class during the afternoon and it was a real pleasure to see the big ones taking such care with the little ones, and the little ones obviously enjoying it hugely.
