The Current Mrs Creel

You wouldn’t send a Blipper outside in Today’s conditions.  Last night’s whisky meeting included a bottle swap.  What will they think of next?  When  CMC went  into Kirkwall, I called Caroline who lives round the bay.  She is 84 and unfortunately a van knocked her over in Kirkwall three days ago.  She relates that the next thing she knew, she was lying on her back with folk looking down at her.  However she couldn’t speak.  A ambulance came swiftly and she was kept in overnight.  The next day she was taken home in a taxi.  The bobbies called to interview her the next day.  She said she feels very lucky, as her head never hit the ground.  She was quite cheery on the phone. 
 
When she returned home CMC was taking a minute to hersel’ and I pressed the shutter.  I didn’t feel a thing.   She is building up to her crossword.  I am utterly pampered.  And grateful for it.
