An Orkney Scene

This is a very typical Orkney scene; this croft actually has two boats in the garden.  The sight in the extra is also very common; from a time when the population of Orkney was far higher and there were many occupants in such crofts.  I last Blipped this a few years ago and a lot of the roof has slidden off.
 
Today was an afternoon of dancing in Kirkwall for today was ‘Get the Nation Dancing’ Day.  More dancing at other venues in the Mainland.
