New book day
This morning other Mrs.Biker visited her Mum who has quickly turned out of sorts again. I joined her for a few hours whilst she rang 111 for some advice. As is the strangled nature of the service (that we are very lucky to have) a doctor didn't see her until much later and at the last update she is now in an A&E cubicle for tests before likely being readmitted onto a ward. It's heartbreaking to see after her being home for only a matter of days.
During some of the afternoon to-ing & fro-ing youngest & I took Shadow for a walk along the Apethorne Link - a local Sustans rail trail - and some of the Peak Forest Canal. Those pics (bit dull & rainy but hey ho) are fillers for emergency blips this week whilst your Gal is working nightshifts.
My sleep has been a bit all over the place this last week so as well as late night chinwags to wind down Brain, I have also been trying to read a bit. The fab book I bought a few weeks ago unfortunately has a flaw for tired eyes, the print is tiny, so have just downloaded a new read to the kindle from Freya North who I love. Time to find out all about Eadie Browne ^_^
