I LOVED eating out for 5 nights something someone else made and served us.   And H brought our espresso machine to  the beach so all was well for breakfast too!   A hot breakfast was included in the Astoria hotel. (plus wine and snacks,  and warm cookies in the evening… Yes, a fun splurge for 1 night,.)      But today we needed to leave the car alone  (well, H vacuumed it) and recover .     So a bit of a walk and a pot of homemade soup fills the bill….there was even some sun.
