Out on a Limb

We took our visitors Barb and Jerry for a ride along the big Manatee River today and ended up at the Palma Sola Botanical Garden. There was a plant and craft show going on, with the emphasis on the plants.

The female anhinga was resting on the limb of the bombax tree, and in my extras is another shot of the red-headed woodpecker in the same tree.

In euchre news (that I hate to report)...for the 3rd straight night Jerry and I polished off Barb and Lisa in a close fought contest. The cards just seemed to come our way.
