Down River This Morning…..

We had a windy start to the day…..and cloudy. And then, later in the morning, a decent fall of heavy rain. Heavy enough to overflow the gutters. Warm too. 17mm in the rain gauge before lunch. An extra 5mm this evening. Such a relief.
This afternoon I took all three cats to Vet Marlborough for their vaccinations. They yeowled all the way there. A feline orchestra. Vet Sarah was lovely. I hadn’t met her before today. . The cats are in good health and behaved beautifully for Sarah. . And their teeth are lovely. That is thanks to “Hills Dental Care”. Cat biscuits. . Later in the afternoon friend Sharee called in. Great to see her. I made a quick trip to Wairau Hospital to visit a friend. Get well soon L. Then finally a trip to see a GP for me.
