Emergency blip

Busy day working, we were supposed to have 2 new ladies starting today. This was going to help with the deep cleaning of rooms.
They didn't appear and when our manager made enquiries it seems the one who had the car, and was going to do the commuting for them both, suddenly decided the job was too big and scary???
The job is far from that, I found the buildings a bit difficult to find my way around (but I'm only working one day a week). It's weird as they must have gone through the DBS check, which they will now have to pay for as they haven't started work.
It's been pouring with rain all day except when I took the dogs out before work and when I got home, what luck is that? ;-)
