Fab run on the sea wall at Canvey

Met B for our Monday/funday/runday. B described it as, 'having a beauty all of its own', as we ran overlooking the Thames Estury looking towards Kent. It does have an industrial look, nevertheless it was a beautiful day with little wind and a good path. I raced this cargo ship at one point, and nearly beat it. Distance can be deceptive!

Afterwards we went for lunch at a cafe 4 floors up, with a fab view over an oast house, water wheel and wier in Battlesbridge,  somewhere neither of us has been to for over 18 months.
