Health and safety

This was definitely a case of health and safety gone mad. The roadwork signs were on the shared driveway in front of our house indicating roadworks on the road to the right. The road to the right is a dead end within 20 metres so none of the cars turning out of the drive would ever turn right. Hubby asked what they were doing and they said they were replacing the top of a telegraph pole. It took about an hour to set up the signs, then they appeared to have a coffee break and the job took less than half an hour!!
