Backyard birding
Sunday
It was a beautiful sunny warm day today, topping out at about 70F (21C)! We enjoyed a good morning at church, followed by Bible study, beginning to look at Corinthians. We went walking in the afternoon at Gilmore ponds Metropark, over in Fairfield, hoping to get some bird shots, but unfortunately we weren’t in luck in that regard. So when we got home, we took our cups of tea out on the patio, and I filled the bird feeders, and did some backyard birding! Red-winged blackbirds are not usual backyard feeder visitors, usually hanging out in wet areas, such as reed beds, but the last year or so they have become occasional visitors. The gentle mourning dove, and Cardinal complete the collage.
