Sunbeams (Day 3221)

After an early wander with Sigyn, and getting myself organised, I zoomed to town to get an MOT done on the van. As expected it passed with flying colours. Next I collected some stuff and headed off to Evie.
The plan for the morning was to get the waste for the shower connected up. Half the morning was spent fitting the shower waste trap, and the other half of the morning disappeared while I fiddled around attaching a waste pipe to the trap. A half hour job took forever because of the limited space to work. The working conditions are probably best illustrated by the selfie I took.
I gave up and headed home at lunchtime to get Sigyn out for a wander. It was ridiculously windy and although sunny, not a particularly pleasant wander. Home for lunch, then off to deal with the horses. I had hoped to get out for a quick ride again today, but it was just too windy and the horses were all very wound up.
When I was finished at the horses I headed to the hospital to see Dad, going via Orphir and getting a good view of Hoy on the way.
I am looking forward to having my beautiful wife home tomorrow.
