Breck, Cullivoe
A gale blowing again, and a couple of showers this morning. Mostly dry all day, overcast but some brief sunny spells. A cold wind.
Up early, hung out two loads of washing, which dried nicely after the showers. Walkies with Sammy, and then mam and Laura picked me up. We headed up to Yell for the day, sadly aunt Margaret was out. More walkies before tea. Working in the shop this evening, and a really busy night. Mam, Laura and niece Lottie popped by the shop too. More walkies, then feet up.
I've had a great day out with mam and Laura. We stopped off at the shop, and told to head to the Cullivoe Hall for lunch, delicious. A tad cold for a right walk, but we had a look around the parish and also Gloup. I was telling them about my first time here as a bairn, granny Lorna took me on a bus tour. This old house stands out in my memory, but I don't know why. I remember the group chatting with an old man here, it was possibly a shop, but sure we went inside too. I'd need to look up the history of the building, to see if I can trigger anymore happy memories. Breck house, Cullivoe, Yell.
