Cheeky

We arrived in Lancaster this afternoon after a lovely drive in sunshine. The tops of the mountains were dusted with snow.

The Lancaster family visited us for dinner, with our grandson in good form. He turns 1 on Thursday. A good week to sing Happy Birthday as it is, according to some, 100 years (yesterday) since the tune was registered.

While not yet walking he is standing and moving around grabbing on to (and shaking) chairs. He is also displaying a cheeky character and a determination to do his own thing!

The cottage we are staying in has very spacious living and kitchen areas which he used to great effect as a race track with his walker. The parents hope it tired him out for the night.
