Gently down the stream

Sunny wren

The roofers started early, so I waited for them to get settled and the mist to disappear, then went off to the reserve rather later than usual.  That's where I met this wren.  Wrens are very much in evidence right now, flashing around and making a lot of noise.  Very spring like.  The ducks have all been paired up for some time, a pair of Canada geese have reappeared looking for a nesting site and the robins are squabbling over the mealworms.  And amazingly it is a sunny day.  How wonderful.

So what else about today - a bit of domesticity and I shall spend the rest of the afternoon looking at your journals and putting my feet up, I expect.

Enjoy your evening (when we get there)  xx
