Presentiment of

Spring.

       I've been enjoying all in images of snowdrops, crocuses and aconites . . . but no such signs of spring here. Finally making an effort to walk the river walk now the the work is at a point that the complete walk is once again open. Saw a heron yesterday and the belted kingfisher today. The beavers have been very busy (extra1) and the ducks were attempting to make a row (extra2). I'd grabbed the camera this morning without paying too much attention . . . these images were shot through a very dusty lens.
