Cutting out

I was cutting the wadding and backing for the patchwork the other day and before hoovering the carpet I thought I might as well cut out my next project, though I won't be doing any more just yet. It's using a pattern I've used before but with some alterations.
It was a dreich day again so the washing had to be dried indoors - Worst winter I remember for having to do this.
I got the patchwork finished  and also a small bit of cross-stitch so have had a fairly profitable day with a nice run with the group as it got dark.
Mr Rat cooked the tea so it was ready as soon as I'd showered.
