Snowshoes on

No views from the chalet window this morning - just low cloud.
But it lifted enough to encourage out for a hike. Mr KT was route planner as usual and suggested taking our snowshoes - as there might be a bit of snow on the way. There was rather more snow than expected so we got good use out our snow shoes. We’re still learning with them really so it was quite a challenge at times as we tramped up and across the slopes. Sadly the cloud hardly lifted and eventually it started to snow. This snow, along with a very steep climb ahead of us, helped make the decision to about turn and head back down. A shame really as we were making for the Swiss/french border, and a French cafe was promised. Another time maybe.
It continued to snow all evening, so looking forward to tomorrow’s view.
