HCM Day 1

Ho Chi Minh city is a riot for the senses, if that's not too much of a cliche – incredible traffic, street hawkers, intense aromas everywhere you go, and oppressive heat. We did an open-top bus tour and visited the War Remnants Museum, which was very sobering and more graphic than we've grown to expect in the west, and then a huge market.

Chilled for a couple of hours in the hotel in the afternoon before heading out to the Bui Vien area (see extra) for cocktails, dinners and sleaze (obviously we didn't partake in that bit). Slept poorly due to jet lag but up and raring to go for day two!
